UN Study Tours Back In 2024!

Registrations for New York are now open.

Following the success of our Study Tour to the UN in Geneva in 2023, we are excited to launch the Study Tours to the UN in New York and Geneva for 2024. Take a look at our 2024 brochure here.

“The UNAAV Study Tour to New York proved to be an invaluable and thoroughly enjoyable experience. We were provided with unique insight into the priorities, plans and projects of the UN and its agencies, and given the opportunity to make connections and learn from people working within the organisation, including many Australians”,

Tour participant, Dani Pallister, 2018, NYC

The tours are a unique experience where participants experience rare access to UN staff and facilities, specialised agencies, and associated NGOs. Over a week, participants are immersed in the UN system through visits and talks with experts. It is also a great way to explore the beautiful cities of New York and Geneva from a different perspective.

We will be hosting the tours June 16-22 in New York and October 20-26 in Geneva.

This is a fantastic opportunity for anyone who is interested in international relations, diplomacy and international development and wants to gain a deeper understanding of UN processes and history, while  exploring the epicentres of diplomacy.

Hear what past participants have said:

“Firstly, I’d like to thank you for organising such an impactful study tour. Walking into the United Nations and engaging with the numerous UN agencies and NGOs closely affiliated with the UN system was an extraordinary part of the experience that the study tour facilitated. I was pleasantly surprised by the networking opportunities that arose unexpectedly; they were an incredibly valuable component of the tour. Once again, thank you for a memorable and enriching experience”.

“Having recently returned from the Geneva immersive Study Tour, what an experience and where to begin. This tour will take your mind and body to places it’s never been before. The wealth of this tour goes beyond the site visits, the cohort, the organizations, and the places that you visit. Your cup, both mind and body, is nourished by the conversations, connections, and our common agenda. If you are thinking of it, just do it. You will not regret it”.

“The Geneva Study Tour was a wonderful opportunity to observe what goes on in the world. We could not have possibly ever seen these things without the UN Association connections”.
