Visit from the UN Special Rapporteur on the right to privacy

We were honoured to host a press conference for UN Special Rapporteur on the right to privacy, Ana Brian Nougrères, concluding her tour of Australia.

The tour examined Australia’s position on privacy issues in relation to personal data protection, including health data, sharing of data across borders, cybersecurity, surveillance, oversight mechanisms and remedies, artificial intelligence and privacy concerns of specific groups regarding gender, indigenous people and children in the digital age.
