17 SDGs in 2018 EVENT: Affordable and clean energy – are these mutually exclusive?

The Victorian community is coming to terms with continually increasing energy costs and threats to reliability of supply – in January, Melbourne hospitals dimmed their lights to ensure their supply wasn’t interrupted during our hot weather.

So, it is clear that we need to discuss what has to be done to ensure that all Victorians are going to be able to access affordable energy in the future. And this must be achieved in a context of developing and adopting new technologies which ensure that our future energy is clean and sustainable.

Come along and be part of a discussion using two UN Sustainable Development Goals as the starting point: SDG 7: Ensure access to affordable, reliable, sustainable and modern energy for all and Goal 10: Reduce inequality within and among countries

Panellists include:
Donna Luckman, CEO, ATA – Alternative Technology Association

Luke Barbagallo, Partnerships and Programs Manager, Pollinate Energy
