Last Thursday, 21 May, we welcomed a sold-out crowd of more than 60 people for Climate and Gender Equality: Implications and Actions for Melbourne.
Held in collaboration with City of Melbourne and UN Women Australia (Melbourne Chapter) the event explored the impacts of climate change on gender equality through a local lens, following two major global discussions on women and girls’ rights, justice and action: CSW70 and Women Deliver 2026.
Our panellists shared reflections from these global forums and joined audience members in a timely conversation about how their outcomes are already shaping the lives of women and communities in Melbourne.
