UNAA Victoria’s Young Professionals Network is hosting an event to support the UN’s World Day Against Trafficking in Persons.
Come along and be part of a thought-provoking discussion led by Linda Rayment, CEO and Co-Founder of the Human Trafficking Resource and Assistance Centre (HTRAC).
Human Trafficking is a crime that exploits women, children and men – the ILO estimated that 21 million people are victims of forced labour globally.
This event will focus on the local context and explore the challenges and opportunities for Australia to actively support the UN Global Plan of Action to Combat Trafficking in Persons.
More speakers will be announced soon.
