UNAA Victoria was honoured to host UN Assistant Secretary-General, Susan Brown at our Melbourne office. Susan is based at UNHQ in New York as the highest ranking Australian within the United Nations system, and is the Assistant Administrator and Director, Burea for External Relations and Advocacy of the United Nations Development Program (UNDP)

We thank Susan for her concise description of the impact and breadth of UNDP’s work globally and in the Pacific region particularly, and for the engaging and in-depth conversations she had with our guests about her experiences working for the UN, why multilateralism matters and the challenges that lie ahead in the UN’s 80th year.
